Students from Walla, Walla, WA work with The Source
Thirty-eight students traveled all the way from Washington State and lent their helping hands on several spring cleaning projects at the new 37th Street property.
The work day was coordinated through Christian Outreach International, which is headquartered right here in Vero Beach. For several years now, The Source has benefited from the efforts of this missions-minded organization.
Students voted “missions” for their senior trip
I caught up with three of our visitors about mid-day on April 25th. I discovered that they were on their senior class trip, and they had voted to spend their time doing missions work. Kandice, Liz and Andrew were excited to share how their class had come to his curious decision. “We all wanted to do it. Yes, we could be laying on the beach right now. But it feels so good, knowing that we’ve made a difference.”
